KEW MEDIA DISTRIBUTION EXPANDS U.S. SALES TEAM WITH APPOINTMENT OF MARIA IBARRA

Kew Media Distribution, part of Kew Media Group, today announces a new strategic appointment, as Maria Ibarra joins the company as Director of Sales, Distribution.

Based in Miami and reporting to Jennifer Askin, VP of Sales, Maria will manage sales of Kew Media Distribution’s multi-genre programming slate across Latin America, Caribbean, US Hispanic territories and Canada. This newly created role is part of a continued strategy to further develop the success of Kew Media Distribution content throughout the region, and follows the appointment of Jennifer Askin earlier this year.

Previously at Viacom International Media Networks, Maria brings more than 10 years’ experience in broadcast distribution, production and business development to Kew Media Distribution. Maria joined Viacom in 2006 as an in-house Production Manager before moving to the international programme sales team in 2008. During her time at Viacom, Maria managed sales across the Latin American territories, and, since 2015, was Director, International Program Sales, responsible for Latin America and Canada.
