KEW MEDIA DISTRIBUTION EXPANDS SENIOR TEAM WITH APPOINTMENT OF GRAHAM BEGG AS VP, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCER RELATIONS

Leading global distributor Kew Media Distribution, part of Kew Media Group, has appointed television and film finance expert Graham Begg to the position of VP, Business Development and Producer Relations. This newly created role will focus on building partnerships with the industry’s leading production talent, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to developing, co-financing and co-producing content for the international market.

Graham brings more than 20 years’ experience in the UK and international media and entertainment industry. Based in London, he will be producer liaison on content acquisitions across all genres, working closely with the company’s many suppliers to ensure effective and efficient collaboration with the entire Kew Media Distribution team. Graham will also manage new business opportunities including forming strategic alliances and evaluating programming for acquisition and ongoing representation.

Prior to joining Kew Media Distribution, Graham established GB Media & Entertainment Consultants in 1999 to provide consultancy, advisory, business affairs and executive producer services to the entertainment industry. The company has advised a wide range of clients including content owners, rights owners, private investors, banks and public bodies in the UK, Europe and further afield. Before establishing the consultancy business, Graham served as Head of Film Finance at Content Media Corporation (now Kew Media Distribution). Prior to this he was Vice President, Finance & Business affairs at Cobalt Pictures and before then spent ten years at bankers Coutts working within the group’s media banking division where he was responsible for managing the bank’s film/television loan book portfolio.
